A walk through behind the scenes look at Disney Animation. Tha Animation building is not an actual working studio, therefore the attraction does not have artists working on real animations like it's counterpart at MGM Studios Florida. Still within a section of the Golden State this part was built due to the overwhelming complaint's of not enough things for the kiddies to do. This section basically adds Flik's Fun Fair to the already existing Bountiful Valley Demonstration Farm and It's Tough to be a Bug! Flik's Fun Fair 
A childrens play area themed to A Bugs Life animated movie. The idea here is to make you look at the world as if you were the size of a bug with oversized blades of grass, huge slides that resemble garden hoses, and a giant ant hill. There are also a handful of kiddie rides such as Flik's Flyers, Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies, Heimlich's Chew Chew Train, and Francis's Ladybug Boogie. It's Tough to Be a Bug! FASTPASS A 3-D movie themed after A Bug's Life Movie with great Special Effects. Note: Will frighten small children. Flik's Flyers Soar through the sky in a hot air balloon made of leaves! An incredible simulator ride where you take a ride on a hang glider through the skies of California in some amazing IMAX images. Duration of ride about 4 and a half minutes. A white water raft ride through a huge mountain shaped like the head of a bear. Jump aboard this round raft that seats up to eight people and begin to float free until the current begins to pich up and the ride really gets going. Hold on and did I mention YOU WILL GET WET! Duration of ride about 6 minutes. Redwood Creek Challenge Trail A large playground with a maze of rope bridges and log towers. Let the kids go wild. The Bay Area Golden Dreams A film about the history of California narrated by Whoopi Goldberg. Presentation duration about 17 minutes. Golden Vine Winery Seasons of the Vine Presented by Robert Mondavi Celebrate California's wine country with the "Seasons of the Vine" presentation. Pacific Wharf Mission Tortilla Factory Hosted by Mission Foods, take a behind-the-scenes look at tortilla production. A huge rollercoaster that was built to look like an old wooden coaster but actually is a modern steel coaster which starts off by launching you up the first hill from 0 to 55 miles an hour in seconds. This is no kiddie coaster, you have been warned. Duration of ride about 2 and a half minutes. Note: you must be 48 inches tall to ride. Baby swap is available. Golden Zephyr  
This open cockpit blimp which looks more like a rocket spins you around a central axis. Each rocket seats about 12 people. The ride cannot operate on windy days. Duration of ride about 2 and a half minutes. Jumpin' Jellyfish 
A Parachute ride which lifts you off the ground by a cable, when it reaches the top it releases and gently parachutes you to the ground. Duration of ride about 45 seconds. Note: you must be 40 inches tall to ride. Another ride which cannot operate on windy days. King Triton's Carrousel  
A merry go round themed to underwater life such as dolphins, seals, and sea horses. Duration of ride about 2 minutes. Mailboomer A vertical launch and free fall ride. Y ou start off sitting down and when you least expect it you are shot up high into the sky after reaching the top you free fall back to the ground. Duration of ride about 50 seconds. Note: you must be 52 inches tall to ride. Baby swapping available. Mulholland Madness FASTPASS A small Wild Mouse Rollercoaster themed to simulate a wild drive in the California freeway. A large orange that encloses swings that look like bees. Primarily it a swing ride which spins around in circles. While in motion you will feel as if your feet will hit the surrounding orange a a large buzzing bee noise is heard throughout the ride. Duration of ride about 2 minutes. Note: you must be 48 inches tall to ride. Sun Wheel  
A huge 150 foot Ferris Wheel themed as the sun. Duration of ride about 2 minutes. S.S. Rustworthy A play area themed as a shipwreck surrounded by giant sea creatures like clams and starfish and fontains that randomly squirt and spray water. Games of the Boardwalk Try your luck and test your skill at these pay-to-play games. Parades 
DCA offers day and evening parades. The current day parade is called Disney's Eureka! - A California Parade featuring floats celebrating California with Disney Characters. The evening parade is the old Main Street Electrical Parade from Disneyland Park which offers a stunning parade with floats and characters that light up in the dark with millions of tiny lights.
